Flamboyant city lawyer, Donald Kipkorir, has set tongues wagging after sharing his working schedule online.

In a detailed tweet, the lawyer - known for his love of fine things - shared his daily schedule with netizens.

According to the tweet seen by now.co.ke, the lawyer only works for a maximum of six hours a day, translating to 30 hours a week, unlike the normal Kenyans who work for a minimum of eight hours a day and 4o hours a week.

The Managing Partner at KTK Advocates, added that he wakes up at 5:30am daily to do his personal studies before embarking on his official work at his law firm.

“My working hours: Mon - Fri: 8am - 2pm STRICTLY,” tweeted Mr Kipkorir.

He added that he does not “do law outside these hours” and that “I do law for work only”.

Mr Kipkorir noted he spends all the remaining hours of his day either reading, watching or meeting friends and politicking.

“OUTSIDE above are my time for BBFs, reading books on history, religion and philosophy, watching Netflix, breaking bread, wine, tweets and political gossip,” he concluded.

The lawyer, an ardent supporter of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, does not shy from pronouncing his stand when it comes to political affiliations.

He has made it clear over time that he will support Mr Odinga’s presidential bid in whatever way he can.

The pro-handshake litigator is also a harsh critic of Deputy President William Ruto, whom he accuses of glorifying poverty and using the poor to advance his selfish agenda.

He has recently threatened to leave the country and seek refuge elsewhere should Mr Odinga fail to clinch the presidency in the August 9, 2022 elections.

“My 2022 Political Choice: Presidency of Raila Odinga or emigration to Portugal…,” he tweeted on August 31, 2021.

Mr Odinga will be seeking the presidency for a record sixth time, having lost the last two to incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta. Mr Kenyatta is, however, pushing to have opposition leaders unite and rally behind Mr Odinga.

The two recently failed to push a constitution amendment agenda through the infamous Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) that was declared illegal and unconstitutional by the Court of Appeal.
