The Saint Francis Health System in Tusla , Oklahoma, in the United States of America is still grappling with aftermath of a shootout that occured on Wednesday, June 1,when a gunman stormed into the institution and killed four people before ending his life.

Investigations have revealed that the shooter identified as Michael Louis, 45, of Muskogee, Oklahoma had a vendetta with the institution, particularly with one of the physicians who met their death through his AR-15 rifle.

Louis had called the clinic repeatedly complaining of pain, and his doctor, 59-year-old doctor, Preston Phillips performed a surgery on him, which failed to alleviate his pain, and he was bent on seeking revenge.

According to Tulsa Police Chief Wendell Franklin,  Louis bought his rifle on the day of the shooting, and was determined to kill the doctor and 'anyone who stood in the way'.  He shot and killed Dr Phillips, along with Dr. Stephanie Husen, 48, receptionist Amanda Glenn, 40, and clinic visitor William Love, 73 before turning the gun on himself.

"He blamed Dr. Phillips for the ongoing pain following the surgery," Franklin said, later calling the letter's contents "a clear motive."

Police in the press conference after the rampage stated that an unspecified number of other people were injured in the shooting, which happened in orthopedic offices of the Warren  Clinic, the building's second floor.

This comes after the deadly mass shooting in Uvalde ,Texas where 21 people lost their lives in the hands of a teenage shooter, most of whom were second, third and fourth grade school children.  Before that, another attack was witnessed at a grocery store in Buffalo in New York, where eleven people were killed in a racial profiling incident.
