Raphael Tuju, Azimio coalition Executive Director has filed a replying affidavit to counter Chebukati’s and two other commissioners' claims.

Abdi Guliye and Boya Molu filed their affidavits on Saturday at the Supreme Court of Kenya.

Addressing a press conference on Sunday Rafael Tuju admitted that he had indeed met Wafula Chebukati at Bomas. However, he made it clear that the meeting was at 4:00 am and not 3:00 AM as Chebukati had alleged. However, he denied allegations that he had incited the commission to ‘moderate’ results in favor of Raila Odinga.

Tuju also noted that he forced his way into the office after being denied entry by Wafula Chebukati’s officials citing that he was busy.

Raphael Tuju has also noted that the meeting was not held secretly and that he was in the presence of all seven commissioners, Kyalo Mbob and Amos Wako.

Raphael Tuju noted that he sought an audience with Wafula Chebukati to raise the issue of swapping form 34As after several failed attempts that had been hinted to him by one of the IEBC officials.

Azimio Executive Director has also challenged the commission's chair to disclose the discussions he had with the Kenya Kwanza team, Joseph Nanok and Veronica Maina, once Raphael Tuju left the office in the company of Amos Wako.

Raphael Tuju has also challenged the two commissioners Abdi Guliye and Molu to give an account to Kenyans on the content of the confidential meeting they sought to have with Raphael Tuju in his house. Tuju has threatened to produce CCTV footage to that effect.

IEBC commissioner Abdi Guliye accused Raphael Tuju of attempting to influence the IEBC to announce Raila Odinga as the winner or force a re-run.

In an affidavit filed by IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati, he accused Raphael Tuju and former Attorney GeneralAmos Wako of visiting him at 3 am on the day presidential elections were supposed to be announced.

Mr.Chebukati alleged that the duo instructed him to regulate the results in return for handsome benefits. In the affidavit, Mr.Wafula Chebukat indicates that the two said that announcing DP William Ruto as the president-elect would plunge the country into political chaos.
