President Uhuru Kenyatta has on Sunday, May 8, announced that the Nairobi Expressway will be opened to the public on a trial basis on Saturday, May 14.

"Starting the coming Saturday, the Nairobi Expressway will be opened to the public, although not officially, on a trial basis, "he stated.

The Head of State who was speaking after awarding medals to winners of the Nairobi City Marathon, dubbed the Uhuru Classic further noted that the much-anticipated project will be open to motorists who will then give feedback after their experience.
