Popular DJ Felix Orinda alias DJ Evolve will have to undergo three more surgeries before he regains his voice back.

While speaking to journalists DJ Evolve’s father John Orinda stated that his son will soon be able to converse freely without relying on the transechtomy that has been aiding his breathing since the shooting fracas.

Mr.Orinda also stated that DJ Evolve experiences challenges holding conversations and articulating words properly as a result of the breathing tubes.

“He cannot express himself very clearly. Sometimes when he speaks it is very difficult to understand him but his nurses say they can immediately understand what he is trying to say. The mucus plug makes things a bit difficult for Evolve.”

According to Mr.Orinda, the doctor in charge of DJ Evolve’s case states that it is only until blockages along the trachea are removed that DJ Evolve will be able to regain his voice.

The procedure to remove the blockages will be undertaken in three different surgeries.

He also expressed hope that the arduous journey will finally come to an end as DJ Evolve has made tremendous progress in his healing journey.

Me. Orinda says his son’s main focus is enduring traveling by road as he plans to attend his mother’s one-year memorial anniversary since her passing on. The service will be held on October 21-22 in Kendu Bay, Homabay county.

DJ Evolve has been confined in a wheelchair and has been unable to sit and walk properly.

A tracheostomy is a surgically created incision in the windpipe(trachea)that provides an alternative route of breathing.

DJ Evolve was allegedly shot by Babu Owino, Embakasi East Member of parliament.

The attempted nurses charge by public prosecution however failed to see the light of day after DJ Evolve dropped and filed an application to withdraw the charges leveled against Babu Owino.

According to the family, the Member of Parliament has been very instrumental in offsetting medical bills in DJ Evolve’s recovery journey.
