Andrew Leteipa Ole Sunkuli is the son of the late Francis Ole Sunkuli, he was born in Kilgoris constituency

He is the Chairman of Mara Education Trust, an Educationist, and Publisher by training, an entrepreneur by inclination, and a politician.

Sunkuli first came to the limelight in 2013 when he contested for senatorship together with his brother Julius Sunkuli. 

The two were vying for the position for the second time in a row in the 2022 general election.

Sunkuli is currently Wiper party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka's running mate in the 2022 General election.
