Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition Presidential aspirant Raila Odinga is set to announce his running mate tomorrow May 16.

Through a statement released by the campaign secretariat, Prof Makau Mutua, the coalition stated that it was aware of the anticipation among supporters ahead of the deadline for the naming of the running mate set by IEBC.

"Our campaign is aware that Kenyans are anxious to know the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Presidential ticket. We will make the announcement tomorrow," the statement reads in parts.

Speculations are rife that Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua is the most suitable candidate to deputize Mr. Odinga.

Other candidates fronted as suitable candidates are  Wiper party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, and former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth.

So far the panel selected by the coalition to foresee the procedure for selecting the most suitable running mate for the coalition has interviewed Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu, Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui, Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya, and his Mombasa Counterpart Hassan Joho.

Others are Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya, former Emgwen MP Stephen Tarus, and  Murang'a Woman Representative Sabina Chege.
